Our Handsome Little One

We may live in a slightly "behind the times" place, but they do have a very cool 4D ultrasound machine. The last ultrasound I had the lady was a bit surly and in a big hurry. However, this time, I was able to sweet talk her into getting some really good pictures! Now, bear in mind that this is a picture of a picture uploaded to the Internet. So, don't get your hopes up too high. I think this is the most adorable picture of Caleb's face! It is like he is looking right at you. You can see both eyes, nose, mouth and chin. Kari and I think he looks just like Jared. He certainly seems to have Houk cheeks!

Below is a video of our home in Shillong. Unfortunately, we have pretty slow Internet here so I had to upload a lower quality video so that I didn't have to sit at the shop all day long. I hope it at least gives you an idea of where we live!

Jared and a new believer

Jared had the privilege of presenting this new believer with the traditional shawl after he was baptized in the community pond by a local pastor. Can you see the joy on both of their faces?!

Traveling from Nepal to India

At the end of May, we traveled back to Nepal to take a language test and visit our national partner. We had a wonderful time! While we were there, we also bought a few things we hadn't been able to find in Shillong (where we live). Below is a picture of Jared with all of our stuff outside our front door. Below that is a picture of the auto that we crammed all our stuff PLUS both of us in! I must say our driver could have been a professional packer and mover in the states.
