Caleb will turn 4 months old tomorrow. I have only left him with Jared twice since he was born. Other than that, he has been with me. Well, people were starting to make fun of me for not being able to leave him with anyone else. A sweet girl that is staying below us for a little while offered to watch him. So, I decided it was time to let go a little and let someone else keep him. She watched him sleep for his two hour afternoon nap. I went grocery shopping and stopped at a local book store. I admit, I did check my watch every five minutes, thought about him constantly, refrained from calling to check on him, and only came home 6 minutes early! Not bad for a first time! Next time we are going to try during his awake time...

Final pics from the old apartment
Notice the myriad of toys in front of our little guy? He just doesn't enjoy spending time on his tummy. He would much rather be kicking his feet and looking at the world on his back. So, we were trying to entice him with some toys - no luck! A couple minutes later he turned on the tears. Who could resist those beautiful blue eyes?!!
We currently have five guys from Midwestern with us. They all came over for a spaghetti dinner (along with our teammates and their little girl). Needless to say - it was standing room only! Caleb just hung out with them while they ate and talked! He had a great time.

Yeah!!!!
Caleb really likes to "stand up". We have been trying to get him to sit, but he only wants to stand. So, one morning, he was standing on my lap. I would lift his arms up and say, "Yeah!" Each time he would get a huge grin on his face and laugh. What a great morning!
Sleeping Baby
While we were traveling, Caleb really grew quite a bit. When we got home, I put him down for his nap in his bassinet. About halfway through, he started crying - then he really started crying hard. SO, I went in to see what the problem was and he had gotten so long was pushing off one end of the bassinet and hitting his head on the other end. I turned him diagonally but then he just rolled over and mashed his face on the side. So, sadly enough, we had to move him to the bottom of the pack-n-play. Not our tiny little baby anymore!!
We are trying to get him to sleep without being swaddled. I have swaddled him this long because it is impossible to keep him warm enough without blankets and he flails around in his sleep. So, we are trying a sleeper, sleep sack, blanket and hat. It worked well for one nap but the next was pretty rough!
Going for a Ride
While we were in Thailand, Caleb got to ride in so many different vehicles. Here is one that we rode in a lot. Basically, we were riding in the bed of a truck.
Also at the ripe old age of 3 months, he got to ride business class back from Thailand (we got upgraded!). He really does a great job in the airplanes!

Stroller Fun
Having a stroller has been a lot of fun! It is nice to be able to walk around outside with Caleb and enjoy the sunshine. He is learning to like it more and more. However, he still likes to be held by mom and dad the most!

Jared was so excited that we were able to find a hat for Caleb!

If you didn't know, how old would you guess this baby is? I think he looks like a little man in this picture!
I'm pretty sure they post big signs in the states that say "NO STROLLERS" on the escalators, but Jared insisted that it was perfectly safe!
